Workshop on Security and Privacy of Next-Generation Networks (FutureG) 2025

Co-located with NDSS Symposium 2025, San Diego, CA

The rollout of 5G and the advent of FutureG (6G and beyond) technologies are revolutionizing network architectures and service delivery models. Key developments include migrating 5G core networks to cloud infrastructure to enhance scalability, flexibility, and cost efficiency, as well as integrating third-party services that enable innovative offerings beyond traditional telecom operators. However, these advancements also bring significant security and privacy challenges. Cloud-based infrastructures and open ecosystems increase vulnerability to cyber threats, expanding the attack surface of critical telecom systems. Moreover, new FutureG technologies—such as high-fidelity mobile holography, pervasive AI at the edge, and ultra-reliable low-latency communications—introduce novel attack vectors and privacy concerns. This workshop invites contributions that address these evolving challenges and propose innovative solutions for the secure and private deployment of next-generation networks.
